How We Give

The Gift That Keeps On Giving

What began as a heartfelt holiday album from Philadelphia Eagles linemen Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Jordan Mailata has become an annual movement of generosity, joy and holiday spirit.

Since its debut in 2022, A Philly Special Christmas has proudly donated over $10 million to more than 75 local nonprofit organizations, making a tangible difference for families across the Philadelphia region.

Every record, plushie, and product sold contributes to our mission to give back to the city that gives us so much. From supporting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) to uplifting Philadelphia’s foster-care community, educators, and students… our goal has always been simple: spread joy through music and make the holidays brighter.

A Legacy of Giving

Each year, The Philly Specials choose a new way to give back. Highlights include:

2022: Partnered with Donors Choose to fully fund 386 classroom wish lists across Philadelphia public schools, using proceeds from our debut album. Partnered with Beats by Dre to gift 6,000 foster care children in Philadelphia.

2023: Donations to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Children’s Crisis Treatment Center CCTC, and 75 other organizations serving children and families in need.

2024: The launch of Operation Snowball, an ambitious city-wide initiative that delivered holiday gifts to every student in the Philadelphia public and charter school system (more than 200,000 children and teachers).

2025 and beyond: Continuing the spirit of giving by supporting local organizations that spread joy and support families during the holidays.

Big Hearts. Bigger Impact.

For Jason, Jordan, and Lane, A Philly Special Christmas is more than music. It’s an annual Philadelphia tradition of giving back during the holiday season.
